East Belfast Community Counselling delivers a counselling service which is accessible, accountable, acceptable and appropriate to those in the East Belfast area, tackling disadvantage, and improving mental health outcomes.
Some of the issues covered are family relationships, self-esteem, parenting issues/separation, redundancy, bereavement, abuse, addiction, self-harm, bullying, suicidal ideation, sexual identity etc.
As well as addressing challenging issues such as suicidal ideation, East Belfast Community Counselling (EBCC) provides preventative counselling, helping to address issues before they get to a chronic stage. This has a positive social impact directly on the local community, improving social cohesion, educational achievement, and employment opportunities and helping to facilitate a sustainable community.
